Bauchi Police Nab Teenage Duo for Mobile Phone Shop Heist
Teenage Thieves Caught: Two 15-Year-Olds Arrested for Bauchi Robbery.
The Bauchi State Police Command has apprehended two 15-year-old secondary school students, Hamza Sadiq and Adamu Ahmadu, for robbery. The teenagers, enrolled at Bakari Dukku Comprehensive Secondary School, were caught for stealing from a mobile phone shop in Wunti Market, Bauchi.
Stolen items included 100 mobile phones, 75 MP4 players, 30 cell phone batteries and other goods. Police recovered 21 mobile phones, 5 MP4 players, a charger and a metal key.
The suspects confessed to obtaining the shop key, timing the owner’s departure and selling stolen items at lower prices. Proceeds were used to buy clothes, food and a smartphone.
The Bauchi State Police Command pledged to maintain law and order, urging the public to report suspicious activities.

MOB JUSTICE TURNS DEADLY: Alleged Motorcycle Thief Crushed to Death in Abuja.
A suspected motorcycle thief met a grisly end yesterday while attempting to flee from an angry mob in Gawu, Abaji Area Council.
Eyewitness Account
Danlami Ibrahim, a witness, recounted the events leading to the tragic incident. “Around 4:12 pm on Wednesday, the suspect stole a motorcycle from a farm in Mawogi village. The owner raised an alarm, prompting youths to chase him.”
Fatal Accident
As the suspect approached Gawu village, he recklessly crossed the expressway and was struck by a vehicle. Despite being apprehended alive by the mob, vigilantes intervened, taking him to Gawu Babangida Hospital, where he succumbed to injuries.
Police Confirmation
A Gawu division police officer, speaking anonymously, confirmed the incident. “The deceased’s relatives collected his body. We recovered the stolen motorcycle, which was damaged, and impounded the vehicle involved.”
